Favorite nu-metal band

I know the singer of Disturbed. (Not well, but we have mutual friends and have hung out on multiple occasions.) While I can see that story being true, Dave is actually a quality guy in many ways. Genuinely nice and easy to hang out with. Just a good guy.

EDIT: And I have no favorite Nü Metal band. Just don't like the stuff.

My initial reaction was that I hate all these bands, but your post reminded me that I did enjoy a couple of System of a Down tracks in the same half-drukenly-pounding-my-steering-wheel way that I enjoyed QOTSA's "No One Knows" or Ozzy's "No More Tears".

Also, I couldn't pick out there music if you held a knife to my throat, but I remember reading an article about Slipknot once and thinking they were pretty funny guys.

Agreed. I was never a fan of their music, and his little display of pedofilia did him no favors in my eyes, but I have heard decent things about him as well as a person. still probably my least favorite in this poll though...
