SPOILER ALERT:

I thought all the slutty freelancer and Sallie and Henry's mommers were all dead. The writers were totally fucking with us the whole time: yep, I kind of thought Don had it in him, and yep Mrs. Gates is that fucked up and poor, poor Sallie. She is going to be all kinds of damaged.

I've been saying this all day. Best line of the year so far.

Some great lines in this one, and it felt wonderful to watch Bitchface get decked, but I was surprised when this one ended, it felt so quick. Like nothing happened, even though plenty did. It was an odd feeling.

Too funny watching Pete stare jealously at the dude stroking the thigh of his hoochie of interest in that classroom at the end!

I just like that Matt Weiner is ripping off My Nemesis for plot points. (& I am sure if I peeped Ol' Nemmy's Twitter, he would be calling it exactly that, "tongue-in-cheek" style. Of course, Nemmy was never, remains not, nor ever will be so modest as that.)

SIGNAL 30, EN ROUTE.

Rebuttal to My Nemesis should be, of course, "garage rock a rockah, go away".

(God, I can't wait til I have enough 's' in Ke$ha socked away that I can reliably leave the Miltown & her various junk behind. This place depresses me.)

Man, I was anything but laughing. To me, that was the final sad moment for a devastating episode for Pete. He wanted to be Don. Have everything Don has/had but he can't wear the crown. Can't pull young girls, can't fix a sink like Don, can't drive, etc. Emasculated by Lane.

He has the life he thought he wanted but still tells Don through tears, "I have nothing".

With all the rifle & Chuck W talk coupled with "I have nothing", Pete could reasonably kill himself or another this season.

I guess I like seeing a d'bag get his comeuppance.
