I was hoping the lips could inject a little more boring into their repertoire

I could understand how people would see a Flaming Lips SONG as boring.
Some are slow and go nowhere.
However, the the band itself (the things that they have done over their span and are the things they are doing today) is not boring, not even close.

I personally consider them much more than a band with songs.

Having said that. Can't stand Bon Ivers voice but it goes alright with what they do. Prob won't listen to this track much though.

I thought the neon indian one was the best.

...but one song off the LB record is my fav
