I agree that he is totally reckless, and may do something very, very stupid.

I've read some speculation about this as well. Dark things seem to be on the horizon.

I also enjoyed the (un)subtle digging at Dianetics while the Jewish copywriter was going on about actually being a Martian/otherwise extraterrestrial.

Between that & the new P.T. Anderson movie -- with Phillip Seymour Hoffman as L. Ron! -- maybe Hollywood is finally striking back.

I thought that was more of a Stranger in a Strange Land reference. Either way, qual.

Only thing that ruined that for me is the guy they got to play Leary looked NOTHING like him - looked more like Peter Bogdonovich or something.

I read some online comments of reviews (the people that comment on these things make us look like hobbyists) and the consensus is that it was a Sterling witticism not actually meant to be The Tim Leary.

IMO, the best, most affecting episode of the season. Everyone facing the consequences of reality. This season has been fairly dark. Probably why I've liked it.

I think I wanted it to be Leary so much that I didn't bother with context.

Had a good hearty laugh at Frenchy McFrogerson telling Don that soon Sally will spread her legs and fly away. He also cracked me up by how amused/impressed he was with Pete Campbell's demonstration of exactly what it is that an account exec does for a living.

Glen clearly has developed into the prototype of what would later become the typical Duke lacrosse player.

The more important question: does LSD accumulate in the gonads, i.e. was Don's mother-in-law literally tripping balls?

As we both know, it won't last long. However now he's using both his wit and new found "enlightenment" to get BJ's from married French-Canadians.

After seeing Sally in that outfit, complete with makeup and boots, I had to stare at a picture of Chris Hansen for a good hour.

Depending on how far they take the show beyond '66, I see Sally as either Nancy Spungeon or Patty Smyth. (However she smells spells it.) There will be no middle ground.

Does Glenn have it in him to be Sid, though?

I almost wrote Smythe. I don't know how it's spelled... & I don't think anybody does. 'Cause it's punk to be inconsistent about your biography.

Glenn grows up to be Rick Moranis in Ghostbusters.

Here's something to blow your mind. (Not really.) Trudy Campbell is ethnically indeterminate, but possibly, an assimilated Jew, which could very well mean Alison Brie is portraying her own grandmother on Mad Men. That is, assuming the character she plays on Community is the daughter of Trudy's daughter.
