Because there's a Sixers or Grizzlies game on. The Heat are an amazing 2 dudes to watch, but for team ball/D, those teams are so entertaining to watch.

seems nobody can slow the celts, who've won 9 of their last 10 home games...except maybe the team who handed them that one home loss:

Both still going to the playoffs, Dale, where regular season win/loss records don't mean shit.

I'll say it now: Chicago-Memphis championship. Ratings disaster, maybe. David Stern nitemare, obviously. Incendiary, Derrick Rose-era Bulls demeaning remarks from MJ (prolly thru his surrogate, Oakley), definitely.

The fallout, regardless who wins: Bosh traded, Spoeltra fired (replaced by Larry Brown?), Deng boosts hopes for UK team at August Olympiad, Zach Randolph goes on interstate rampage.

I tend to agree on Chicago but Rose can't stay healthy. No matter what the Bulls say, he won't be 100% the rest of the year.

Regardless, I'm not sure anyone can beat the Thunder.

One of the more interesting things in all this, for me, is if the Heat don't win a title this year, will Pat Riley break it up? ie - trade Bosh

Knicks gave the Celts a nice shot of Novakaine last night! See ya in Round 1!

He might not trade Bosh but he will definitely fire Spoelstra.

I think the Thunder are imminently beatable in the playoffs and I also don't think Chicago can make the Finals. They are better than last year but I don't trust all these spare parts to function with any consistency in the playoffs.

I don't get this whole NBA fascination with 'posterization.' You shouldn't lose face for missing a block on a dunk - you should lose face for not bothering to try and block.

Quite a step down from Linsanity.

Give Carmelo time. He'll find a way to hold him down too soon!

As a Chicago sports fan, I just can't shake the feeling that the Bulls are about the shit the bed.

Popovich is going to get into the Basketball Hall for the simple fact of being immune to the FT Jinx.

I realize the Bobcats are in full-on tank mode but I find it hilarious that without Rose or Deng, the Bulls still beat the Bobcats by 32 last night. Glad I declined tickets to that game.

At least they just suck. I was watching PTI last night and they were crushing Golden State, whose ownership has shipped off their best players and brought in backups and injured guys in a blatant attempt to fully tank the season.

Still, Jordan has been a travesty as an owner so far. Downright Isaiah Thomas-esque.

Shitty fucking season for Portland. Glad it's over. No GM, no coach, and rumors the owner might sell. Roy retired, Oden waived, Aldridge having off season hip surgery.

Returning line up:

Pg: none really
SG: Wes Matthews - ok bench player
SF: Batum free agent, wildly inconsistent
PF: Aldridge
C: none really

So with Dwight Howard out, is Andrew F-ing Bynum going to be the starting center for Team USA in the Olympics?

Paul Silas, Tyrus Thomas have altercation in Bobcats' locker room

Damn, Paul Silas has beat a bunch of motherfuckers up in his day.
