As previously reported, the London I'll Be Your Mirror lineup includes Slayer (performing Reign in Blood in full), Sleep, the Melvins, Mudhoney, the newly reunited Codeine, Yuck, and Mogwai, who are co-curating the event. Dirty Three, Chavez, Floor, Archers of Loaf, Demdike Stare, Wolves in the Throne Room, Yob, and Siskiyou have also been added to the lineup, in addition to the Afghan Whigs.

Already told the wife, that this can be my fathers day, birthday and christmas gift for 2012.... The Twilight Kid is going to London!!!!
And in September, the Twilight Kid will be driving 100 miles to Asbury Park!!!!!!!

Curious how this turns out. I was a big fan of the Afghan Whigs but with the exception of a few songs everything Dulli has done since whether solo, with the Twilight Singers, or the Gutter Twins has been pretty meh to my ears. I've wondered if he's just lost it or needs Curley or if it's just me and the change in my taste.

I would probably sacrifice at least a cross-section of a nut to be able to attend this. Unfortunately, money's too tight to mention.

I tried to get into the Whigs for a while, based upon everyone's nuts emptying over them for so long. They never did it for me. Never really moved me.
It's been long enough, though, that I should probably give them another shot.

Not to be TimmyJoe, but did one of the Whigs die? Or, is the one missing from the banner alive, but otherwise indisposed to working with the band (the Axl of the Afghan Whigs, let's call him)?

The Whigs has had a very Spinal Tap-ish situation with drummers, and the core three are the only members there from the beginning. I dont think they even decided on a drummer for the upcoming shows yet....
