the image is new to me. i heard about it via sports morning radio earlier in the week. sorry, bro. i guess i was doing thangs.

for what it's worth, when i got home at 2300 last evening i did grind some chuck for burgers on home-made potato rolls and all the fixins that turned out fabulous! sorry, i didn't take pics and/or give a one paragraph impression.

I feel like we never have these hissyfit tantrum over-reactions anymore. Kinda miss 'em.

"The Jerkass" just doesn't sound especially appetizing. It sounds like it'd be butt meat covered in Jamaican jerk sauce. But (pun intended), let's be honest butt meat is just one No Reservations away from becoming the hot new culinary delight.

We've sort of argued around and argued out almost everything at this point, and we all pretty well know where people are coming from.

Jerkass still tries to play provocateur when he can (see his "20 minute meals" comment to me - brought about by me hipster baiting him, but still)

But most people just sort of figure it's not worth it anymore. I doubt I could even engage shiv in an anti-Avengers rant.

That, and when you are friends with people on Facebook and see that they have lives outside the board, its kinda hard to be a jerk.

A good friend just had a miscarriage, and the same night I find out my favorite uncle has about 6 months to live (brain tumor). Daughter is finally starting to REALLY start the terrible two's bullshit... no more fucking bad news for awhile, please. I have to write him a letter quickly, while he can still understand it. Fuck this fucking sucks.

Sorry to hear all that coming down all at once.

Bad weekend. I have to find a way to let some shit go. It's good to be busy I guess, becaucse everytime I think about either issue I get pretty damned torn up.

Times like this call for strippers and cocaine.

Sorry to hear about those things. I hope the miscarriage wasn't too late in the pregnancy. Also hope you can spend some time with your uncle.

9 weeks on the miscarriage, so it could've been a lot worse, but we were all VERY happy for her to be pregnant. And I'm probably not going to get to see the uncle. He's not really up for many visitors anyway, and things are going to get pretty bad pretty quick, by all accounts. He requested just the immediate siblings.

Yeah, as you say, 9 weeks is bad, but it could have been worse. Still, I can imagine.

Worst of all I'm sorry to hear about the onset of terrible twos. Truly devastating.

California rock band Redd Kross will return on August 7th with their first album in 15 years, Researching the Blues. The 10-track effort was written by founding member Jeff McDonald and was produced and mixed by bandmate/brother, Steven, who you may also know from OFF!. Yeah, carting a screaming, crying, drooling and snot dripping inconsolable kid around is about as much fun as you would imagine it to be. The good news is, it's really from 2 through about 3 and 1/2 is what I'm told. So there's that.

FemDerris' transmission shit the bed last Friday while she was in Charlotte. Were hoping to recoup 3K or so when we finally sold it but ended up selling it today for $700 and she is currently carless (read: I am her driver to and from work for now).

3 months out from the wedding, many contracts signed, and now we're looking for a new(ish) car.
