Reading the obit, he was a pretty fascinating guy.

EDIT:
I was also considering
"In the DEAD Kitchen"
but figured that Wild Things was a better ref.

Maurice Sendak (83) illustrator/author of Where the Wild Things Are has died.

I never knew how prolific he was until the film came out a few years ago and I looked him up again. WtWTA was a staple of my childhood. RIP.

things I discovered about Cendak during the interview

1. he's gay
2. he hates kids
3. he says whatever the hell he wants because he don't give a fuck
4. he was an old, loveable grouch
