Beastie Boys sued for copyright infringement.

This should be an interesting case, to see how the court applies the statute of limitations and/or laches.

WAY TO GO DUDE!!! Great news. When did you do it? How? Details.

Enjoy it man. Those first couple of weeks after I finally pulled the trigger were pretty blissful due to A) having finally done it and B) the endless possibilities of a wedding and what your future life will hold.

A good day man.

So, FT, you're the one who killed those hookers?

Craig James is vindicated!

(Still going to get his ass handed to him in the TX Senate primary, though.)

Bought the ring last week, but they didn't have it sized until today. Picked it up before getting her kids from school. Bribed both them with a small bag of chips and a drink on the way home, sat them down in the park, told them what was up, and offered them a chance to be involved. Older son (10) came in first, saying that daughter (7) had a letter from school that Mom needed to sign. Daughter proceeded to pull the ring box out of her school bag and open it. From there, I was at on knee on the foot of the bed and asked. Yes, it's cheesy and arguably trite, but it involved the two most important people in her life, and (most importantly) she never saw it coming.

Bliss is a good word, Benj. I'm not ecstatic or overly excited, probably the calmest I've felt in a while actually. Just a sense that it's right.

Tempted, but I suspect a veto. Perhaps we'll have our rehearsal dinner at the Harvester...

In all seriousness, I am trying to get Gavin back from China for this thing. Fingers crossed.

involving her kids was a stroke of genius

the future mrs. ft v2.0 also has two kids (son, 14 & daughter 12), so i may "appropriate" some of your approach when the time comes for me to make things official

like looGAR always says: amateurs borrow, pros steal

My state, NC, just voted in favor of the anti-gay marriage, anti-civil union, constitutional amendment. All my friends are upset, all my neighbors living near my parents are probably thrilled. I thought my state was better than this, but am not surprised.

Wore a kilt at my wedding. It was a source of much curiosity.

Against Me!'s Tom Gabel Comes Out as Transgender-Plans to begin living as a woman, change name to Laura Jane Grace

Interesting. Feel kinda bad that its under such a microscope now. You google his name and everything that comes up is this headline. Guess Against Me! was bigger than I thought? Or just an unusual story?

More like -- Against D!

Though, this will allow for Laura Jane nee Tom to join Lana del Rey nee Lizzie for a killer duet on "Axl Rose Husband (Re-Invention Re-Mix)".

I looked EVERYWHERE for the clip of Groundskeeper Willie's kilt getting blown up to expose his lack of undergarments, but all I could find was this...

Sketchy I've been so damned busy but I keep thinking about how happy I am for you in the quieter moments. As has been said, couldn't happen to a more deserving person. And I used my dog (the old pitbull) in the proposal, so I know from some cheesy. Plan A was to build a snowman in the backyard right where she walked from the garage to the house, and put the ring box in his stick hand. Got home early and tried to make a snowman but it was so damned cold the snow wouldn't stick to itself, just crumbled apart. Had to improvise.
