It wouldn't blow my mind because the only good thing about Community is the .gifs of DEM TIGGIES. I wouldn't know the plot points if you held a gun to my head.

Depending on how far they take the show beyond '66, I see Sally as either Nancy Spungeon or Patty Smyth. (However she smells spells it.) There will be no middle ground.

Does Glenn have it in him to be Sid, though?

Glenn grows up to be Rick Moranis in Ghostbusters.

No, like I said earlier, he grows up to be a Duke lacrosse player.

His pick-up line for Betty, next time he's in the area: "Baby, be my Mrs Robinson".

- Stealing this from a tweet I saw, but "WHOOOH-OH FAT BELDING, AMBA LAMPS"
- "PIZZA HOUSE"
- I loved all of the interactions between Harry and Pete; "You walked up" "You opened the door"
- Some very shaky acting by Alexis Bleidel; almost January Jones-esque in a certain way
- I guess Megan's performance at Don's party was maybe foreshadowing her wanting to get back into acting/performing
- Was very surprised to hear an actual Beatles song at the end of the episode; but I guess that was the payoff of the Beatles line earlier on

Weiner used the Beatles last year, after Don met Megan. Episode closed with him staring into the middle distance from his office, as Megan walked toward her desk.

You sure? I don't recall that and this Vulture blog post states:
Quote:
Weiner was told his "Lady Lazarus" episode would be the first use of an original Beatles studio tune for a television show. In order to secure that boast — something he'd been attempting for the past few seasons — the Über-secretive Weiner had to share his script pages with the Beatles's company, Apple Corps, for approval.

They used The Stones in that episode where Don started swimming/journaling/not getting blotto every day.

I agree with this, but Alexis Bledel looked pretty good in last night's episode.

Yeah, it took me until she said "saw you in the New York Times Magazine" to know it was a dream. Then he woke up.

I usually hate the dream sequences, but this was QUAL. GIFs or STFU.

yeah, based on that look she was throwing down last night during pete's dream sequence (i.e. DEM TIGGIES), i may have underrated her

So, you're saying, after twenty years of marriage, she left Don.

Once you go black...

More ecumenical moment: Harry Crane at the Krishna service, or Michael Ginsburg at the Christmas party?

We need a gif of that Lakshmi chick rocking Harry in the grill.

Also - #1 thing Mad Men reviewers and their commenters don't fucking grasp that drives me crazy - "HOWG DOESB ROGER HAGG ALLADAT MUMGEEEB?"

A) Inheritance
B) Lifetime of high salaries
C) They sold the agency once for an assload of money and only had to put up $100K as start up for the new SCDP
D) Jane says "Your mother is my landlord" when asking for a new apartment - which implies that she owns the apartment, or more likely the fucking building.

I could go one, but it's hilarious to me that people think that a couple of divorces is going to deplete ol Rog' down to nothing when his partner owns a couple of Rothko's.

That's the one!

I said, when it happened -- that's getting the .GIF treatment.

- That whole scene with Don and Joan at the bar
- Hare Krishna Paul Kinsey and Varys from Game of Thrones: separated at birth? (h/t Alan Sepinwall):

- The reference to a meeting in "Cooper's office" being the bathroom? Hilarious.
- Obviously things are not going to end well for Lane Pryce

I love that he forged a forger's name. &, no, I don't think things are going to end poorly for him; at least, not this season

Roger, though, is going to die. (If there is a suicide this seaon, it will be Sterling's. With a sizeable chunk of the estate left to his lovechild. IE, money Joan cannot turn down.)
