i know there was a beta thing posted about earlier this year. it seems the new amg is up and running now. gonna take some getting used to!

Yeah, it will take some getting used to but I think that, overall, I am liking the design.

Started using this a little while it was in beta and think it's an all-around improvement.

Now that it's live it even seems like the search is a little better, too.

Now if Metacritic will get it's shit together...

It took me something like two years to get comfortable with Metacritic's redesign. I feel like I can get it to work more or less the way the old site did with about a half-dozen extra clicks. Other than having a somewhat nicer look and color scheme, I can't think of a single thing they improved with that redesign.
