I'll admit it, I kinda like that casette table. I wouldn't want one, but I like it.

So, Obner I have missed out the past couple of months. Back in March found out I had a tumor in my stomach, had it removed successfully, doctors got great margins, and am about halfway through a series of localized radiation treatments. Bit of a wake up call on how I live my life. In spite of running and/or lifting every day...you can't smoke a pack and a half of cigarettes every day for the past twenty years, have spent years in the middle east on FOBs burning human feces, drink way too much, and generally ignore your genetics. So some serious changes around here. Good news, I am on my feet and looking to be cancer free. Nobody, I still have your Grouper record ready to send to you...just got sidetracked with this shit. Not such an awesome 2012 so far, but looking up.

And yes, that cassette table is fucking rad.

As grumpy as you can be sometimes, Radcliffe: I owe you a serious debt of gratitude for turning me on to this phenomenal album:

I'm listening to it now for the umpteenth time and it just never gets old. A legitimate Listmania! record for me.
So, yeah... thanks again.

Damn. Well, I'm glad you're recovering, man.

But yeah, you really need to cut down on the burning human feces stuff. Nasty habit.

Well, goddamn. Looks like the Obner prayer list is growing by the day.
Welcome back and I am glad to hear that you are recovering. Much love and prayer for you.
Look forward to seeing more of you 'round these parts.

Sorry to hear about his. Let's all become a bunch of healthy, carefree, lucky SOB's over the next couple of years. This accident, illness, divorce crap needs to take a break.

I'm more averse to the dude laying on the couch. In fact, I'd like to see him forced to fight the guy who was sitting at the cafe listening to records to the death. In a cage. With swords. And pistols.

Don't worry about that, just glad you are doing OK. I did make up a compilation tape of a bunch of 78s that I was gonna send you, but never got your address... so I kinda gave it to a girl instead. Making a new one should be no problem.
