Picked it up last night. I rarely listen to albums more than once in a 1-week span, but I've listened to this one twice, already. This woman can SING. Highly recommended for fans of Neko Case, Nora O'Connor, Sharon Jones.

The other one is MC I think. Mirror Creator. There's a bunch of hoops to jump through. First is an ad page; at the bottom there's a small "unlock mirrors" box that asks for a password. PW is exystence. That takes you to the links (scroll down). Clicking on a filesharing site takes you to another ad page. Ignore it and hit "CLICK HERE for your download link" - and then you'll finally be at the Rapidshare or Zippyshare or whatever site.

New Escovedo is better than I expected.

The password was where I got stuck (after literally staring at the damn screen for two minutes trying not to click an ad). At any rate Bob hooked me up and I'm looking forward to hearing it, thx.

This reminds me, anyone who is a music geek (very few here, I'd imagine) and wants an awesome read on the music in NYC in the mid to late 70's should read "Love Goes to Buildings on Fire" by Will Hermes.

I think that everyone here is a music geek. That is why we're here.
(Unless I'm missing an ironic tone, there.)
