it's good not great. I need to hear it a few more times before I set that in stone. I think I might prefer a few Boston Spaceships to this, but I'm still excited they are back together.

Listening to this now. I like it but my expectations were pretty low.

Looking forward to "Class Clown Spots a UFO" LP which should be out in May. So far somewhat disappointed in this one, but hopefully it will grow. Honestly, just glad the band is back together.

A few keepers, but they're outweighed by the clunkers. Like Akin said, hopefully the next one will be better.

agreed, though this is coming from someone who jumped ship after Under the Bushes Under the Stars. i did not dig Mag Earwhig and lost interest afterwards.

I remember hearing this during an NPR interview last year. Thought it was pretty good. But it's kinda hard to truly fuck up that song.

The latter two were/are being recorded in 2012--but different sessions. Factory was in Fall of last year.

i'll never understand the fans of gbv who fixate negativity on that song. It's not their best song but it's a solid perfectly fine song in sea of more terrible songs. It's a little more poppy then the rest of their catalog, but the lyrics are pure Pollard. I've always liked it.
