Justl listened to the WTFpod ep with Wayne Coyne. He came off as a normal, well-adjusted, nice guy (despite what Badu says).

Rolling Stones: Let it Bleed

Considering I called off work with the specific intent of spending the entire day drinking myself immobile, I figured a joint and this album (my favorite Stones record) was really the most appropriate way to get things off to a proper start.

If you're gonna smoke yourself into oblivion today, could you do me a favor?
Once you catch a nice buzz, would you mind giving this song a listen and let me know how it sounds in such a state.
"Hey"

I, myself, do not partake. But I wanted to build this arrangement for folks who do. Would you mind listening and tell me if I was successful?
Thanks!

Kinda reminds me of that Beta Band song from High Fidelity, forget what it was called. I always liked that song, so it's a compliment. And yeah, spacey enough and all that, although I honestly find the idea you gotta be high to dig spacey sounding stuff kinda silly. But, I enjoyed it despite the chicken on a bike thing that made me wanna hate it.

Cool. Thanks.
I guess that I didn't build it specifically for the stoners, but as I was listening to it in the studio, it occurred to me that it would probably be a good stoner song.
But I'm glad that you dug it and I appreciate the listen and the perspective.

As much as his music annoys me, I fucking love Wesley Willis' drawings. A friend of mine picked one up, similar to this, from Wesley one night at the Lounge Ax. Paid $20.
I think these are going for $500 minimum now. The better ones, like this one, and like my friend's, are a couple thousand.
Not that I would sell it. I love this.

Blondie - Parallel Lines

I do not get the love for this album. AMG gives it 5 stars and it's in the top 250 of all time (currently #121 of all time!) on the acclaimedmusic website. I mean, I don't hate it. It's an okay album, but I don't think it's as good as their debut which is would give around a 7 out of 10. Thoughts?

That Grace Potter is awful. Man, her stock really dropped.
