Have been trying to remember to listen to this one more often after seeing Fly Golden Eagle a couple of months back. It's a interesting mix of garage/pysch-soul with the evermore commonplace electronic flourish from this Nashville band.

listen here: http://soundcloud.com/blacktoothmunch/sets/swagger/

sidenote: Last night on Sound Opinions, I heard the review for the new Ty Seagall Band, and it sounds like something I should check out. Any opinions on it?

Incredibly depressing. I love it.

The night I met my first Obner was, coincidentally, the same night I also witnessed Aidan Moffat's cock. I described it in my diary as 'tattered, possibly diseased'.

so far (3 songs into the 1st listen), this is one that Pitchfork got right. It's got a Smiths feel to it

so, you lovers of prog out there (I'm talking about those who genuinely like Yes, Rush, Genesis, King Crimson and Dream Theater) should really check out this Astra album. Not my bag at all, but it's solid prog rock. you can stream it HERE

Merchandise album is good. Thanks for the heads up there. And it's officially free, digitally, if that matters to anyone.

NP: Twin Shadow - Confess
I'm a little disappointed in this album outside of "Five Seconds".
