So, would Refused approve? On the one hand, seems sufficiently crust-friendly, but on the other, Spider-Man, a heavily commercialized product... I think they would give a thumb-up and head-shake, then start brainstorming a DIY superhero.

OFF! would think it hilarious. Both the Spider-handler & Refused trying to decide a superpower for Ian Mac Kaye.
