Over 12 hours since last night's season premiere and no comments on it yet?? I'm ecstatic that it is back, and the 42 minute episode just whizzed by. Can't believe we only will get 8 episodes this season before the final season of 8 more episodes.

Yes, that was awesome. Mike vs. Hank with neither one blinking. Can't wait to learn more about the "dramatic" end to his cop career in Philly.

Supposedly, it relates back to the story he told during "Half-Measures" about letting a wife-beater off the hook, who then turned around and killed his wife.

I don't understand the fascination with this show. A few weeks back I got season 1 and found it to be completely boring. None of the characters are likable enough for me to get behind, and most are downright irritating. I managed to hang in til season 3 when the wife had sex with her boss and then I threw in the towel

Patrick, if you don't get it, or don't like it,...that's fine, but I don't feel the need to justify my love of this show to anyone either. I've been watching since day one...and perhaps it helps to watch it slowly build over time as I did...but what you have here is the de-evolution of the nice guy next door, the local high school science teacher, into a drug kingpin like Tony Montana in Scarface. Not only that, but you see the way that he tries to justify it to himself through the whole process. Initially, it is to help set aside money for his family as it appears that his death from Cancer is imminent, then to help to pay for his cancer treatment, eventually to help pay for his brother-in-law's hospital bills (that Walt not so indirectly caused), and finally just out of pure greed and self delusion. There also have seemed to be clearer consequences for actions in this show than a lot of other TV shows.

I am a big fan of braking bad.It is my all time favorite .I just love it.

You are literally the first person I've ever heard of who's watched this show and didn't like it. Not being critical of you at all, just surprised I hadn't yet come across anyone else who didn't like it.
