Since he is both Obner's most popular real life boarder AND the reason why the board turned to garbage I thought I'd throw out some props and congrats to our man Mr Derris for finally tying the (balloon) knot with Fem Derris.

Huzzah!

Yeah, Congrats. One of the few Obners i've met (along with both ATL Dave's) and he was really cool. Met his now-wife as well and she was great as well. Enjoy that Honeymoon.

In ten years, Derris & Rod will be the only Obners still on their first marriages.

A definite "So That Happened" moment. Great weekend.

Nice work. Damn fun time, and the semi-public premiere of Johnny Taint and the Cans of Piss was worth the price of admission. Derris and femDerris are indeed some QUAL people. Also, the best wedding bar I've ever had the opportunity to mooch off of.

So, is there JTATCOP live recording? Will such a thing, if extant, get played on the next POGBLASGK?

Having Allagash White and 2 Hearted free on tap was dangerous, but wonderful. I only had 4 beers all night so I could still play but I still enjoyed every sip.

Also, Disco Stu is secretly a gracious, decent gentleman of a human being. Don't tell nobody. Wish I had had more time to get to know him.

I had my recorder with me, but declined at the last moment to make a recording, partially because i forgot to tell the sound guy to turn it on and partially because i was sort of drunk and feared a shit show. (I think it took me about 4 songs to sober up and stop eating my balls)

Setlist:
Let's Get It On (Marvin Gaye)
I'm Goin' Down (Bruce Springsteen)
Honeysuckle Blue (Drivin N Cryin)
Jackson (John R Cash--sung by the newlyweds)
Red Morning Light (Kings of Leon)
Casino Queen (Wilco)
Around and Around (Rolling Stones)
Careful (Guster)
Someday (The Strokes)
Ooh La La (The Faces)
American Girl (Tom Petty)
Codeine (Jason Isbell)
Franklin's Tower (Grateful Dead)
Love Song (Tesla)
Let There Be Rock (Drive-By Truckers)
Laid (James)
Where Is My Mind? (Pixies)
Purple Rain (Prince)

And yes, bottomless 2 Hearted on tap was both the best and worst idea ever: I feel like an extra from Barfly
