Let's get everyone back so we can start a reunion of sorts. Maybe some fights, cheap shots, 6 pages of arguing. And then everyone can make up. I miss those days.

I thought Dusty? Chalk? was the urban adventurer/mountain bicyclist, & fairly Liberal sort, who was the object of many of LooGAR's most virulent attacks. I think he lived in NorCal, & spent some time in the same hobo camps as Gary Young.

As to Beachy, I don't think we ever got the cook-off between him & Prince of Darkness that we all would have wanted. But last I recall, Beachy had divorced, left Belize, & ended up working in a kitchen (not his own) in Seattle. Maybe, if he's still Stateside, you can get together the cook-off at the next Obner SXSW throw-down.

First, "Melissa" wasn't Asian. Second, where is Spade Kitty? &, for that matter, catswilleatyou has been scarce (though I think he might be getting busy with cat-breeding, being married, or at least cohabiting, with FEMCATS; that is, I assume (incorrectly) the Rastababy in his avatar is KitWillEatYou).

Oh, & how could I forget a young boarder, almost as polarizing as Mark Clark, & more polarizing than BeekOK -- CManhattan4/gauchebag!

Did he end up going to Turkey? Do you think, if still there, he's ended up running weapons to the Syrian resistance?

i thought about linking him [on hpn] to some of his old obner posts where he was being particularly gauche-y, but my better angels intervened

Beachy turns up on the Obner Facebook page, just not the board itself.

The one possible way we could get people back is to send out a mass email--we do have whatever email address that everyone used to register. (I should know, I spam them with emails for "Legal Cialis" all the time)

This was the least funny bit in board history.

What happened to that dude who's party we ruined that one time, Bloor? The cat who worked with Derris?

Also, Cotton, gone but not forgotten. And we still get the very occasional Joey Crack post.

Those guys brought some heat.

This. I still think about his post where he saw his ex at a restaurant post-drama and paid for their meals. Class.
