OH NEIL!

I'm no longer too surprised by Twitterverse cries of "who dat?" every time an old celebrity dies, but for some reason I expected even dumbfuck 11 year olds would know Neil Armstrong. I guess we just don't have schools anymore.

Giving 11 year olds a public voice... always a bad idea.

Looks like it's not limited to 11 year-olds.

As long as Buzz Aldrin still lives & is able to coldcock twerp thirty something moon landing denialists, the historic record will remain accurate. Once Buzz goes, though, the homeopaths on the left, homeschoolers on the right, & vaccine denialists of all stripes, will once more have Jesus riding the dinosaur & AIDS not triggered by HIV.

God, I hate this world. Thabo Mbeki & Tony Perkins need to fuck right off.

Apparently Neil Armstrong used to tell unfunny jokes about the Moon, and follow them up with "Ah, I guess you had to be there."
