This can be nothing but awful.
Even the TRAILER is unfunny!

Why, oh why, can the movie studios not leave good movies alone?

This is just brutal. Darren McGavin must be turning over in his grave.

If you absolutely have to make another Christmas Story movie (and you absolutely should not), at least cast this guy as The Old Man:

what the fuck? how is this even possible? Pretty sure that TBS has been beaming this into everyone's brain for the last 20+ years via their Christmas marathon. Not only that, but it's been a part of the Christmas season pop culture fabric since the 80s. "You're gonna shoot your eye out", "Fra-gee-lay, must be Italian.", "Fuuuuuudge", "Scott Farkas".... come on!

I mean, even the Jews can get behind this movie.

Even worse is that I own the dvd and just haven't gotten around to watching it. Same with The Goonies. I got them both as gifts for xmas.

You had me going, right up until Goonies, at which point you overplayed your hand...

Whatever. I haven't seen it. Not saying I haven't heard of it or seen clips. Just never watched them.
