Goodell, in his continuing effort to top David Stern as MOST GANGSTA commish, assigned the Orlando Brown Blinding Crew to Screwjobbed Packers & Bounty-hunting Saints as more salt in the wounds, & to say, "Sure, the Fed Court sided with Vilma, et. al., & of course our blatant incompetency Monday forced our hand in strong-arming the union, but I -- STILL -- OWN -- YOU".

That game was a travesty, & Goodell needs to be fired. With cause. His 2012 (& 2011, for the player lockout) salary recovered. Full stop.

Seattle will do themselves in slowly and surely as defenses understand that they don't have solid offense.
As much as I want to root for Russell Wilson, you can tell how he carries himself that he's not quite NFL caliber.
I haven't seen Flynn have a horrible performance. Poor at times, but never as unassured and skittish as Wilson continues to be.
Flynn for some wins?

Yes. It's time to see what Flynn can do. Wilson isn't ready. Not time to give up on him as he has potential but the Seattle D and running game is too good to be a part of a developmental year for the rookie. If Flynn scuffles too then bring Wilson back for the experience.

Given the size of Pete Carroll's ego, Ill be surprised if he pulls the trigger.

No way you go to Flynn only 4 games into the season unless Wilson is hurt. While Wilson definitely needs to learn to step up into the pocket a little more, our pass protection has been horrible - Flynn takes 2-3 more sacks this game if he is in there. The real issue has still been playcalling - I'm not in love with our conservative game-plan but when we get 4+ yards on run plays, and want to be a smashmouth team, why are we going empty backfield on 3rd and 3 or less? Why are we throwing low percentage passes? Why are we throwing options or toss sweeps on those plays?? We need to be running the ball right down the defense's throats and forcing them to stop us.

Oh yeah, and Mike Martz should NEVER be allowed to call a Ram's game again....that was just painful to listen to....

I TOLD you they were too good to be impacted by my "jinx." (Though, I was admittedly sweating out the potential of a full-blown board beatdown today from you and Bloor if the Panthers held on for the upset yesterday.)

I gotta disagree with you.

So what if Flynn takes a few more sacks than Wilson? He probably makes several more throws down field to make up for that. And he might not take those sacks because he can read the defense more quickly and get rid of the ball to avoid the sack. RW holds the ball too long at this point.

Why is the game plan so conservative? I have to assume it is because the coaches, who have watched him a lot more than we have, feel RW is not yet able to run a more complex offense.

Seattle has the worst passing game in the NFL, by a wide margin. It's time to give Flynn his shot.

And yes, Mike Martz was the most biased color commentator I've ever heard call any game in any sport. You'd think the producer would've asked him to tone it down at some point. I think he might've been drunk.

I don't think the Bears kicked so much ass last night as the Cowboys self-destructed in a spectacular way.
Romo's 2 primary receivers were the ground and anyone wearing blue and orange.

The Cowboys may not be the worst team in the league, but...yeah, they probably are.

I only caught the second half last night but, yeah Bob, they looked just awful.
Even this victory, as convincing as it was, didn't really improve my faith in the Bears.

True on all counts.

Is Brady saying "fucking pussies"?

Also, for those who can't read lips, Matty is saying "GET THE FUCK OFF OUR FIELD".

Finally getting some grit from that guy. Loving it.

Not sure how good a team Jacksonville is, (I admit to being only a casual fan, without no overall, big pic knowledge of the league), but even if they are a shit team, that was a fairly impressive victory by the Bears last night.
