He would foul out in the first quarter of every game, sadly. That's why his minutes were limited in this game. He came in, hit two threes to tie it up... then got two quick fouls afterwards.

i don't think that his performances are more impressive than okafur's because okafur is asked to produce a double-double every night on a team where no one else is any better than anyone on this board. gordon's brought off the bench for a good team and is given a green light.

but i think it's his consistency that is so impressive. I mean, 20+ fourth quarters w/ 10 or more points? that's most in the league. I haven't looked at the stats, but I would wager that he's top 3 on the bulls in scoring, and he doesn't even start. and he's bailed the bulls out on plenty of occassions.

Charlotte blows and the Bulls are the fourth seed in the East. An amazing accomplishemt considering how down in the dumps this team was in November. This is why Gordon runs away the ROY.

see, i think that skiles should run away with that one, but that Gordon shouldn't get rookie of the year points because he can't stay in front of someone long enough to be a viable starter (yet).

Well, sixth man is definitely Gordon's to lose as well.

Yeah, but Okafor is only mediocre when you take into the fact that he plays 40 minutes for someone who only really belongs playing 30 minutes tops at his skill level. Gordon has improved as both a passer and defender massively, though is still flawed. Okafor shoots 43% for a center. He is completely horrendous offensvely and only would score 4 points a game if he played on any other team. In fact, I think for the team he's on, he should be doing much better if he was actually that good. I mean he is good at rebounding and blocking but I don't think he's particularly great at this point. Whereas Gordon, after playing 40 minutes for the first time dished out 8 assists, not to mention if you watched him last week you would have seen the two best passes of the entire year while Curry was playing. I think Gordon WILL develop a complete game shortly and is already almost there. He has all the ability offensively already. I, however, would even put Howard ahead of Okafor, honestly.
