we did this last year around this time, and it worked out great. Its a good way to get ideas of what albums to check out, rather than being overloaded by the rolling thead.

Here are mine:

Mark Lanegan band - Blues Funeral
Smashing Pumpkins - Oceania
P.S. I Love You - Death Dreams

1. Grizzly Bear
2. Chris Cohen
3. Dirty Projectors

...or something like that. Still have a lot of stuff to work through.

Tough call, good year. Depends on the day, but off the top of my head in no order:

Chuck Prophet: Temple Beautiful
Ian Martin: Mechanical Rain
and a compilation tape called Air Rings 3

Really like the new Leonard Cohen as well, Paco Sala, Dakota Bones, Off!, Bits of Shit, Co La, both Panabrite albums etc... Ask me tomorrow and my top three would change and I'm sure I am leaving something out.
