She does not agree with him (at all), but does a great job in explaining (to liberals like me) why his position could be considered a thoughtful one instead of just blindly, dogmatically following Evangelical doctorine.
I still vehemently disagree with his position, but this is exactly the kind of dialogue that we need to be able to understand each other and make the whole process a little less combative. I can understand and even respect him a little bit more now, while still disagreeing.
Yes, NPR skews Left, but it's the stories like this (and there are many) that make it the most thoughtful (IMO) place to get my news.
I do hope that they follow up on this by bringing Murdock on at some point, if they can. I would love to hear him speaking candidly, off the stump.
