Voting Romney could've brought them all back.

I'm off to go vote. Hope the fucking line isn't a beast.

I most likely will just let this slide, but I'm tempted not to. This is a FB post from a good friend of mine. We actually grew up next to each other, I was in his wedding.

Quote:
Tomorrow is election day. My friends, who are Christians, asked who to vote for. Both candidates are not Christians, so do we elect not to vote? My response is that we do vote. We should remember that we are not choosing a spiritual leader when we vote for a president or any political leader (Read Romans 13). When Paul wrote Romans 13, he wrote under one of the worst governmental systems. However, he did write that a non-christian is capable of ruling. I know that most Christians would write off Mitt Romney because he is a Mormon. Do not forget, that Obama and Romney are in the same boat spiritually speaking--they are not Christians. So who should we vote for? I would vote for the candidate who has the highest sense of moral values, would uphold justice, and the one who will hold to the highest standards of our nation. Only you can decide that.

Still amazed at people who reject Obama's right to delacre his own faith. "Nooope, no you're not."

Just got back half hour ago. Thank goodness my precinct only has 174 people in it. I waited about 10 mins. I think I heard this was the longest ballot in our County history, but I came prepped. The wife and I went over all the issues last night and brought 'cheat sheets.'

Hope everyone here gets to vote as easily. Best of luck. Go'merica!

Walked right in and out, zero line. I was very happily surprised. Also there were two guys out front, one holding a Scott Brown sign and the other an Elizabeth Warren sign. And they were chatting about their differences happily and chuckling. It was really nice.

Seemed like a super short ballot this time around for us. Only a few races that weren't uncontested plus a couple of proposed state amendments.

All these unopposed incumbents made me want to run for public office. I mean what kind of qualifications do you think I need to run for Georgia state legislature?

Facebook has suggested that I like Mitt today.
A whopping 3 of my friends like him.
That's nearly half a percent of my FB friends.
I live in a pretty liberal bubble I guess.

Every day I drove by the early voting it looked packed so I feel pretty good about waiting.

45-minute wait at 6:30 this morning. at least this year (unlike 2008) i waited indoors. i also took advantage of mobilejudges.com to hopefully deny a few judges another term.

Or, more likely, most of your friends realize that liking a candidate on Facebook is just an invitation to get a heckuva lot more political spam on your feed.

"Connell can no longer discuss the matter. He was killed when he crashed near the Columbus airport in his single-engine Piper Saratoga on his way back from Washington, D.C., for his company’s Christmas party in December of 2008. One month earlier, on the Monday before the 2008 presidential election, a federal judge compelled Connell to sit for a deposition in the 2004 election fraud case in which the attorneys believed the man who created the George W. Bush and John McCain campaign websites, as well as the now-infamous secret email system for the George W. Bush administration, held the key to an alleged conspiracy to steal the 2004 election in Ohio for Bush."

Hooooly hit job. Where's Loog on this?

Agree with him on everything except supreme court appointments. THOSE I will fight and fret about.

Also not election based OR CHH based, but still very punchable. Holy hell who are these people. She's 36, not 70.
