Wisconsin going to the Dems is the true tell of the umpteen fails of the Romney campaign. Poor business decision picking Ryan in a predominantly Democratic state (swing state my balls, pay attention to real demographics). Poor business decision not having an educated stance on anything. Horrible campaign. His staff should be sent to pasture. Second worst campaign run in the past 25 years (after Kerry).

The Republican party has to become something different. Religion, xenophobia and gas aren't enough for nearsighted politicians to keep stake of their daddy's assets.

But!

I totally won my Fantasy Election matchup this week.

Diane Sawyer must be on a mixture of oxycontin and Old Grand-Dad tonight. Really enjoying the meltdown.

The Republican party was lost to the global economy they created.
The Republican party dies with their buried ardent followers.
There still are a handful of loudmouthed white, entitled used-car salesman Republican assholes that'll try to sell you a pina colada scented turd.

Incredible. What time did they call it in 2008? I feel like it was early this go-round.

Don't know cuz, but it did feel early. Probably why Fox News, even though posting that Obama won re-election, is still talking about states BO hasn't won.

Mitt has made the "I concede" call.

She just mistook Paul Ryan for Tag Romney. This is comical. I suspect she'll be fired tomorrow.

The media made it look like a competitive race to keep you interested and their ratings high. Polling from six months ago based on historical models had Obama winning decisively. And regardless of the debate bullshit to capture revenue and the public interest, this never really was a competitive race. The media attention motivated the general population to bury Romney.

I'm still heartbroken that pressure wasn't put on Romney to release his itemized tax returns from the past two years. Completely lost in the mix, but those documents are the truth behind that shill.

I think CNN said they called it about 18 minutes later this year than 2008.

Oh weird.

Here's what Ed Stetzer (pastor/Lifeway Research) said last night on twitter:
Quote:
Obama reelected. For those shocked this wasn't a Romney landslide, I'd broaden your news viewing beyond @foxnews.

Which of course brought the ire of many of his followers--but I'm happy someone else is speaking the truth.

It really is a shame that we will never see that pirate's tax returns.

Well, what I said in 2008... the insular white bubble isn't bursting... it is shrinking and collapsing into itself. And in no time at all we will have a people-of-color workforce paying the taxes that fund the Medicare for the white remnant, deluded and evangelical, baffled and dismayed, and still angry... Thanks Jose, pass me my meds.

Completely hear that. I'm reading this morning that Mitt got the least # of Latino votes in a decade. Bush (I/II terms) and McCain both got over 20%, with Bush II term getting 40%--Mitt got 17%.

Georgia went to Mitt at 53%. Obama lost by about 300K votes. The 2nd lowest percentage total for a deep south state behind North Carolina (which was in doubt for a while).

We haven't gone blue since Clinton in '92 but I find it incredibly encouraging and hopefully a sign that the death grip the conservatives have had on this state for the last 20 years is starting to loosen.

You can't keep pumping latinos, gays, and successful young people into the voting pool down there and keep electing republicans. Not These republicans, anyway. Not for much longer.

I was too busy celebrating the creation of our new, modern Sodom and Gomorrah by getting drunk, high and banging a couple bisexual chicks young enough to be my daughters to post last night.

Thanks Obama.
