Curious, as a casual fan, where would you lay the blame for that loss? Obviously, that's a huge topic of debate among Tiger fans this morning.

knowing virtually nothing about the situation other than the outcome, i have to blame les miles, of course

Les makes things interesting. Like Ron Zook, minus intensity, but plus a national title.

Yeah, it's really got to chap some asses in the Big 12 headquarters that A&M is doing quite well in the toughest division in CFB in their first year, and that Nebraska is getting really, really close to winning their first Big Ten title in year two.
I'm just hoping the Longhorns don't find a way of ruining the KSU dream season. I really want two of three remaining unbeaten teams to run the table and prevent Bama from sneaking into the title with one loss.

They still have to get by a newly confident UGA in Atlanta, playa.

And I will be rooting for UGA to win.
Husker fans are sort of like the 1972 Miami Dolphins right now. They don't want Bama to win three titles in five years like the mid-90's Huskers and are ecstatic that they can't match the gawdy 60-3 record that went with those three titles.

Lol - as someone on an Oregon forum just wrote, you might just end up seeing that in something like the Fiesta Bowl.

God I hate our kicker (Oregon's) - cost us OT in the USC game last year and a shot at the national championship and cost us this year as well.

Man, I wish Oregon had gotten to face Josh Nunes...I actually seriously wonder if Stanford might be undefeated if they had gone to Kevin Hogan earlier in the year.

Actually, if this comes to fruition, a college football-themed Vesco podcast with Bob as a guest host would be very entertaining.

SC will beat Notre Dame next week.

UCLA will play Stanford two weeks in a row.

At this point I'd like anyone but Bama in the MNC game... UGA would be fine. At this point, although never shown by BCS, Stanford is probably the best team in the country.

Yeah, I'm really rooting hard for Georgia now. I'd like to see the Dawgs terminate Bama's title hopes with extreme prejudice.
I'll be interested to see who is projected into the BCS title game this week, since a lot of folks think USC will beat ND next week.
If I was a Rose Bowl official I would be really worrying about a possible Oregon/Wisconsin rematch of last years Rose Bowl and the slight possibility of a Nebraska/UCLA rematch from earlier this season.
Ohio State has a strong shot at finishing #2 in the AP Poll now.

I'm kind of rooting for Maryland and Rutgers to join the Big Ten, so that they can juggle the Divisions and scheduling up a bit better, but I would have preferred it if they would have through Kansas a bone for their basketball program alone.
It would certainly help to add a conference game in 2014, if the Miami Hurricanes decide to pull out of their two series against the Huskers.
There's also no chance of me traveling down to NOLA to see the Huskers play Southern Miss there next year, since the Golden Eagles are selling the rights to the home game back to Nebraska to gain some much needed cash for their bankrupt Athletic Department.

Rooting interest aside, I want UGA to make the MNC game just to see Spurrier's CHH press conference: That and beating that shrimp Saban would rule.

That being said, Georgia Tech 35, Georgia 24 next Saturday.

And we non-SEC fans need Florida State to take out the Gators, who should to be hovering around #4 in the BCS poll this week.
They could slip into the title game like Bama last year if Notre Dame loses, since the loser of the SEC title game will be eliminated from the mix.
I didn't want to see a Bama/LSU rematch last year, and I certainly don't want to see a rematch of Georgia/Florida for a national title.

UGA and Nebraska might be on a collision course for a bowl match-up if bowl teams fail to win their conference title games.
Nebraska still needs to get by Iowa or have Ohio State beat Michigan next weekend, and both of those seem pretty likely at this point in time.

Not that I wouldn't want to pay your way down to Orlando so Bloor and Derris could use the Tom Osborne Memorial Richard M. Nixon Smothering Pillow on you, but if I'm CMR, or even UGA's AD, I'm pulling an Ara Parseghian and refusing a bid to The Outback or Citrus Bowl ever again.

Also, fuck that site and the entire world for punishing the loser of the SEC CG by sending the Gators to a BCS Bowl. Playoff can't come soon enough.

I'd be going against a vow I made myself the last time I visited Orlando to never step foot in that city again if I went to see the Huskers play there. I really don't want Nebraska to play in the same bowl game two years in a row either, especially since they remain winless in Orlando.
ESPN's Mark Schlabach has the Dawgs playing Bobbo's ND team for the title, and both of the so called experts have the Huskers playing the Cardinal of Stanford in the Rose Bowl again, 71 years after their first and only meeting at that bowl game.
Brad Edwards on the other hand has UGA falling all the way to the Chick-Fil-A bowl against Clemson
