guys, I'm an adult now. the last two months I haven't heard anything but classical music. I'm still very much into Bruckner, and I started to get deeper into Mahler's stuff. AND, I discovered Paul Hindemith, this dude is fantastic. anyone here who listens to Hindemith? Or Hans Werner Henze?

I like some Werner Henze's stuff. He did some really great twelve-tone pieces that I have around here somewhere. Also really like a few of his guitar and cello solo pieces. My favorite here:



One of my favorite things lately outside of my standard minimalism rut is still the whole Metropolis Symphony thing Michael Daugherty did. I love the playfulness throughout, just fun both to play and listen to.



Also, been on a big percussion kick recently and have been loving Maslanka's Marimba Concerto. Just so damn pretty.
