If you ain't cheatin, you ain't tryin
I'm guessing this will give Auburn enough cause to fire Chizik after they get annihilated by Bama.

Didn't read it, but I'm assuming it involves Cam and a bag man

Nope. New car smell fresh allegations of grade tampering.

When all is said and done (read: the Chizik buyout), its going to be the most expensive National Title of all time.

and more recruiting violations courtesy of two assistant coaches, which leads more folks to believe that they definitely got away with something during the Scam Newton year.
They might as well announce a self imposed bowl ban for next year now, because they might join the ranks of the Miami Hurricanes when the NCAA concludes its investigation. I'm sure the NCAA won't have any issues with throwing the book at a losing team, like they might have when Auburn won the title.

The Huskers won a game on November 23rd for the first time since 1963. They were on a nine game losing streak on this date, and had been blown out in many of those games by Colorado and Oklahoma. They are now one win away from their first Big Ten title, and their first BCS game since the 2001 season.
It is amazing how a six game win streak to win a divisional title can change how most fans view the program. I think a lot of folks thought Nebraska was on the verge of a 6-5 year when they got blown out by the Buckeyes.

I'm on my knees begging for a UGA beating of those idiot Bammers. Their sense of entitlement is sickening. Please cram them into a very small space in which only Saban would fit.

Dude, I'd do more than beg to get the win but I just can't let myself believe.

It's going to take a perfect game and Murray will have to do something he has yet to do in 3 years: play his best against a top ranked Defense

Although I give him credit, he did engineer the drive to take the lead against UF in the 4th.

I have a feeling most of the country outside the the state of Alabama will be UGA fans this Saturday.

On Saturday, I root for Georgia. (Yes, Derris, you read that correctly.)

& for the National Championship, I root for... Not a meteor. No, no. No, no. Five overtime drag-out with Georgia winning by the skin of its teeth & Brian Kelly having a heart attack somewhere around the third overtime. (I swear: Saban's a carpetbagging asshole, but he's never gotten an unpaid videographer killed, nor covered up a sexual assault investigation. (Which I guess makes Kelly the new JoePa -- now, with murder. (Though the Ray Gricar thing is suspicious. Maybe.))

Five overtimes and Brian Kelly won't be the only one having a garble--Derris will stroke out at the end of regulation and Loogar's head and heart will explode simultaneously when Mike Bobo dials up a stupid play for negative yards in OT3. My old man will die in his sleep of boredom at halftime with the score 6-3 Irish.

At any rate, welcome to the bandwagon, hope it's a long stay.

Gentlemen, let's get through this Saturday without arrest first.

As a Dawg fan, I'm not equipped currently to handle the stress of this.

It's all anyone at the office is talking about.

Fucking terrible. The whole thing. Jim Delaney is the anti-christ.

The one thing that seperates college football from the NFL is tradition. They keep shitting on it and shitting on it and eventually the people will wise up. (Maybe). Still, people in the region will watch something like, say, Michigan vs Michigan St, even if both teams are terrible because they've played the game forever. There is tradition there. Why on earth is someone going to watch GA Tech vs Illinois? Because they're now conference foes. It's beyond ridiculous.

I'm actually encouraged by this:

http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2012 ... out_sports

SEC viewer ratings lowest in 4 years. Although I think that has more to do with the SEC digging it's heels in and not going to a 9 game conference schedule than trying to shoe horn in tradition with A&M and Mizzou.

There's just as much if not more tradition in the NFL at this point. Just stop, Derris. Just stop.

Who becomes the sixteenth in the B1G?

Eastern Division

Rutgers
Maryland
Penn State
Georgia Tech
Ohio State
Michigan
Michigan State
Wisconsin

Western Division

Indiana
Purdue
Illinois
Northwestern
Minnesota
Iowa
Nebraska
???

Iowa State would seem the most obvious, for the natural rivalry with Iowa & ties to Nebraska via Big 8 & 12, but I would bet Kansas to be the sixteenth. Outside chance of Oklahoma, Texas, or Virginia.
