Still doesn't hate them.

Definitely a superstar. I still remember my mom buying me a tee shirt to "celebrate" the airstrikes. Makes me shudder now. To think it was glamorized at that time with cards, etc.

It was nice of him to hang my pops out to dry. The ripple effect his BS decision making is still being felt.

Obviously I don't know the back story here, but I will say that I feel like he was a face that was needed at the time and probably very much undeserving of much of the praise he received. As a Battlespace Commander (Granada aside) I don't think the guy deserves to be mentioned in the same sentence as many of the other great Commanders we have had throughout (even recent) history.

That being said, hate to see the passing of any former leader.
