I probably should've put SKM in my Honorable Mentions... I never heard that Patterson record. Will probably get around to it some day.

Japandroids was the only thing we shared on our lists, other than Divine Fits being in my honorable mention

I've only heard the shins, japandroids and divine fits from your list and didn't like any of them. **shrug**

gentleman jesse and japandroids are the only things on there that would make my list.

i don't expect much out of lucero anymore.

and this is the first jens lekman album i don't like.

Great list. I like everything on it except Diamond Rugs because I haven't heard it.

I wanted to like the Helio Sequence and Nada Surf much more than I actually ended up. Toadies?!?!! I didn't give this a fair chance. Have to revisit because historically I've loved them.

The first half of the Toadies album is especially strong.

diamond rugs is good, it involves hardy morris from dead confederate, which is a selling point for me. i also thought jens was especially weak this year
