Ah, it was a lovely Sunday in the bay area: cool and sunny. Great crops of arugula and Sauvignon Blanc this year, not to mention the NorCal danky nugs. Go Niners, destroy the Falcons.

I think the Falcons win. 49er's D isn't as stout as earlier this year and I would hope that the coaching staff of ATL isn't as incompetent as Dom Capers.
Also I think the Patriots should handicap themselves next weekend by getting drunk or ingesting a bunch of drugs so that it's actually an interesting game.

Seriously though, this is the game the Ravens have been craving. The win during regular season wasn't quite as good as it could've been--so we're fiending to beat the Pats in the championship in Foxboro.

Puff-Piece??? Pete hasn't been coach at USC for 4 years now but he still helps run "A Better LA" and donates his time and money to help disadvantaged youth there and here. There are a ton of USC Alumni that have become Seahawk fans because of Pete (despite the sanctions that everybody wants to pin on him) and the fact that he's a really good guy. You might see that if you could see beyond your silly school rivalry BS.

Miller did all of that with a Torn Platar Fascia as well - they announced that after the game - I imagine they gave him a cortisone shot or something in the locker room. Obviously I'm glad he came back in.

I agree with the former part of your statement, but not so much the latter part - seasons are impossible to predict from one to another because you can't predict health, free agency or the draft. As for Bradley and Bevell - Pete basically is the Defensive Coordinator - perhaps not in name, but most of that falls on him. I don't want Bradley to leave, but I don't think it is as big of a deal as most people who watch the team from afar.

As for Bevell - I could honestly take him or leave him - He seems to be able to come up with great schemes to really exploit defenses, but situationally, sometimes he leaves me smacking my head. When you have a back like Marshawn Lynch and you need a yard or two, you run it up the middle, right?? This year, there are many times when we've gone 5 wide and picked up the first down on a slant. Other times when we got too cutesy and tried to run pitch-outs to Marshawn that didn't work. I just think he outhinks himself sometimes.

All in all, while we had a great year, I would be really surprised to see either land a Head Coaches job. (Then again, Cleveland hired......who in the hell is that guy again?? lol)

I think SF is imminently beatable because I saw New England go up and down the field and then Seattle beat the living dogshit out of them. If the Falcons let Kaepernick run around with no pressure like they did Wilson, it's over by halftime.
