Musically, not unlike the last album, it's Jesus Lizard D-sides over and over with different tempos.
And...
Lyrically, it's a dumb, angsty middle-aged blog without any sober insight.

I'm not mad about this album.
I'm just disappointed in a band-endorsed half-assed effort selling for $14.

P.S. Mark Proksch/Kenny Strasser is decidedly more entertaining than Pissed Jeans and gets featured in their new video.

i'm with jerkass. some great riffs and energy. i was let down by the "lack of moving on with life" in the lyrics.

he's still mad he has a job and he's soooo much better than everyone he works with.

I took all that as sort of tongue in cheek.

But I dunno, this is my first Pissed Jeans album.

Well I think the subject matter is literal
but the dumbness of the delivery is what's tongue in cheek. I dunno tho I'm not the dude.

Yeah why would you hate on a band called Pissed Jeans for not "maturing"?

Jerkass isn't a character.

Admittedly, I was pretty excited about this album after I heard the opening track. And then the rest of the album didn't even approach it. Overall, I like King of Jeans better, and I thought that was just OK -- several good songs separated by tons o' filler.

The lead off single is a bait and switch followed by an album full of sludged mental turds.
Some naivete at Sub Pop had higher expectations and got their promotional team to follow suit.

All in all, a lot of bumps in a road made of turds...
And they got air longer that we expected.

I liked Bathroom Laughter a lot when I first heard it and the first time I listened to the album that was probably the standout track but my favorite after listening a few times is probably Cafeteria Food.

I'm starting to warm up to this album
but I ain't ever gonna buy it 'cause I already own the Jesus Lizard discography.
It'll look real cute on a year end list at around #34.
