did my bracket for the office pool this morning, and the inevitable indiana-miami elite 8 matchup was the hardest one for me to pick in probably at least 10 years

Did anyone else watch the "Survive and Advance" 30 for 30 last night? I'm biased, but I loved it.

...and have now subsequently penciled in NC State to win the championship in everyone of my brackets.

i watched it. I think it's a North Carolina (i.e. growing up there, this was pretty much a hagiography) thing.

No, I've heard and read it lauded nationally.

Are we doing the NCAA tournament contest this year? Monty usually sets it up. I was wondering if I missed my email or a mention of the contest in a different thread. I know we usually play for the CD's, but I would be willing to play for pride like I do my other bracket contests.

Sorry is this espn/yahoo? I understand you're making it vague cos you don't want to get beat by a rank amateur.

I just spent an hour filling first round picks on espn and firefox crashed. Fuck a duck. Really intruiged with the St Louis/New Mex game.

This should come as no surprise. At all. He's had the #1 recruiting classes the last 2 years and it looks like he'll get it for a 3rd.

He won a National title with one of those classes and didn't even make the tournament with another. Figure that one out.

All I know is that something is ALWAYS rotten when it comes to Calipari and I wish the NCAA would just camp out in Lexington because this will all come crashing down at some point.

I wasn't claiming it to be a suprise, I believe it was between KU & Kansas. They're not finished yet, hey.

Wasn't a shot Roach, just a general annoyed observation that Calipari does this everywhere he goes and leaves scorched earth behind him when he leaves.

I think UK is a program that can naturally bring in big time talent but this level is unprecedented. Even at a place like Kentucky.

I have no experience of this bud, all I read is that is possibly the best recruitment class in history.

Until I got into it recently, I thought they had to get to senior year before they could go to the big draft.

Hey Roach, can you change this thread title to something like "NCAA Tournament 2013" or "March Madness 2013"?

Just so we don't have to start a new thread and keep this one?

Games will come fast and furious tomorrow.

Harvard? Huz-zah!

Finally... My upset mania proves true. The Crimson. Berkeley. Good times. Did miss on Oregon, still. & Montana & St. Mary's didn't pan out. But, all told, good times.

Yeah truly hopeless. Woodall 1-12 and 5 turnovers.

Spending the morning watching replays. First time I've seen Oregon, looked exciting.

I openly did too and got cold feet at the last second. Still had 'em in my Elite 8.

Fucking Steve Alford. Never trust an Indiana man.

Couple of good games but mostly a meh day. Hopefully today will make amends.
