Heard this story on NPR yesterday and the clips sounded freaking awesome. I'm gonna need to pick this one up.
Anyone else heard of this guy? Know his music?

Don't know anything about him other than that I noticed this in my RSS feed:

I don't care much for Tinawaren so if this along that line of bluesy african rock guitar, it probably isn't going to be my kind of thing.

I've stopped seeking out much world music these days. Hard enough to keep track of and find time to listen to western music.
