So, nobody here's been talking about how amazing this season of Justified was?

HEY. there are healthy beer and coffee discussions!

Obner right now feels like a beach hotel in the middle of winter.

It's weird, because I can't think of a show that should be better received here than Justified.

Never seen it, but I see that the first season is free to stream on Amazon Prime so I'll try to check it out.

I didn't know that, but I might check it out there, too once I get done with House of Cards.

Maybe we need a "Rolling TV Show" thread.

Indeed. Love the show, and this may have been the best season so far.

I haven't watched the finale yet. I enjoyed the season a lot, so far, but I think I liked season 2 more. This may change after the finale.

We're all growing old together.
A tighter-knit community than the actual neighborhood where I live.
Kinda strange when you think about it.

I think this season is as good as season 2, but they're all great in their own way. One of the things that I love about the show is the way they've played with rolling out the story. The first season is mostly single unrelated stories. The 2nd then went with the combination of that and a long-form story with the Bennett family. 3rd season was mostly all one extended story, and this last one was just a giant ball of twine that you got to watch the characters pick at for the season.

and all of them just reek of Elmore Leonard's plots (or are literally his from the books), which I'll take any day of the week. Awesome shout out to Friends of Eddie Coyle in the finale, too!

I loved this season of Justified. Funny, I started with season 2 (which was clearly awesome) and have watched since but haven't yet gone back to season 1. I understand there was a little bit of a jump in quality, but I need to watch it before the next season.

That would be awesome..lol, might finally cause my post count to go above 1000 ;)~

Loved this season of Justified (but I've loved all of them) - Chris, Stacy and Drinky need to get on that......Am just finishing up House of Cards myself though.

Anybody else here watch Southland?

My wife watches and loves Southland. I catch parts of episodes occasionally, and it looks like a good show. Funny how they do the cussing-bleep thing seriously, as opposed to Arrested Development.

Speaking of Arrested Development:

House of Cards features my office window in a non-starring role (and is almost entirely filmed in Baltimore, which, combined with Underwood's gig representing my old district makes it feel customized for me).

As far as series go, the only thing I'm really on is The Walking Dead.

re: kids drunk posting. I have one in college now, myself. He could be easily swayed into creating an account and satisfying the wenchlette.

finished this season tonight. enjoyed it a lot, though as far as ending bad guy deaths go this was less satisfying than last season. i'd still probably rank this behind season 2 but it's real close.
