The single doesn't necessarily thrill me, but I am expecting to grow to enjoy it more (as I have with a lot of their other stuff - I mean, I didn't like "Fake Empire" right off the bat).

That said, they are probably my favorite current band and this is my most anticipated album of the year.

"Demons" is my least favorite song of the three thus far, but the production on it is gorgeous.

Not as excited as I was for High Violet, but I'm still looking forward to it.

I agree with this. "Sea of Love" got me really, really excited for the rest of the album (not that I wouldn't have been anyways).

Just got tickets for their show with Frightened Rabbit here in September. So glad they are finally coming to Charlotte and that I don't have to travel to Chapel Hill or Raleigh to see them.

boy i remember the shit these guys were getting on this very board in 2005. seems like Alligator was almost universally disliked upon its release (including me). its now one of my favorite records.

I remember it the opposite way - the grand majority seemed to go apeshit over that album, which I took as a typical Obner affront to all that is good.
