Anyone heard this? I found it through the WFMU blog and it's been killing me all week:

wikipedia Wrote:
In 1971 Vangarde (Daniel Bangalter, father of Thomas Bangalter, who is best known as a member of the electronic music duo Daft Punk) and Kluger released the cult LP Le Monde Fabuleux Des Yamasuki as the Yamasuki Singers, a pseudo-Japanese concept album of pop songs, described on the sleeve of its CD reissue as "a fuzzed-out-educational-multi-cultural psych-rock-opera.... proto-psychedelic hip-hop with overweight drum beats and basslines", which much later became a highly sought-after source of bass and drum breaks. The song "Aieaoa" on the album was later recorded, as "Aie a Mwana", first by Black Blood and then by Bananarama, becoming the first UK hit for the latter group.

this song has been making my commute better all damn week:

It is by far the most energetic song on the album, but there are some nice moments throughout the rest of the album, in a fuzzy AM sunshine sort of way...

check it out here

Well, I haven't yet heard any such song or the singers singing any such song. I usually listen all types of music especially different moods of music and light music. Music not only creates relaxation but all the tensions are removed with the help of music. Music is the medicine of life.

Where were you when I was making a mix of weird late 60s/early 70s music?! Ha! I like this, though.
