Game 1:
TRIPLE OVERTIME!

As a Hawks fan, I thought that the home team looked outplayed last night. The Bruins, while being outshot, had a lot better chances, while it looked like the Hawks flung it at the net more. Bruins just looked crisper and sharper, overall.
But the Blackhawks were brilliant in their own crease, which saved the game for them---not just Crawford (who was amazing), but all the defensemen, flying all over the place and blocking shots.

Just a great game, overall and I'm glad that my guys came out on top tonight.

On to Game 2.

damn i'm tired.

Here, too. Big time.
This should be a great series.

Im pulling for Chicago, more wide open and skilled game than the Bruins. It would send a bad precedent for the league if the Bruins won - more trap hockey, more bullying, etc. If the officials didnt let that stuff go, then it wouldnt be a problem. Big reason the Bruins won in 2011 over Vancouver is the officals allowed bullying of players like the Sedins after the whistles. Yes, i said it.

Chicago, running out of ideas, has now moved to 'made you flinch' attempts at looking tough

Don't have cable so I couldn't watch the damn game. Pisses me off.
Another overtime game is pretty incredible. This is going to be a long series, I think. Two pretty evenly matched teams.

You could stream NCAA D3 water polo on half a dozen sites if you wanted to.
But you can stream the fucking Stanley Cup on several hundred.
Welcome to 2006.

Looks like the Bruins are bullying again, just like in 2011. Poor Hjalmarsson forgot that it's a contact sport...

Last night the Hawks played a more complete game than they have in the entire series. Bruins had some great chances, but Chicago just seemed more in control, overall. Hope we can clinch it in 6 but won't be shocked to see it go the distance. Awesome series. I just hope Toews can take more ice time.

I thought for sure that it was coming back to Chicago for a game 7. What a helluva finish to one of the best series that I have ever seen--in any sport.
