Granted, one listen. Sounds like the best thing since McLusky.

Hey I just ordered this. Something I've wanted for a long time that I decided to just go ahead and get.

Listened to these today:

The Ex - Joggers & Smoggers
Freak Heat Waves - s/t
Viet Cong - Cassette
Faux Fur - s/t
Bedhead - Transaction de Novo
Thinking Fellers Union Local 282 - I Hope It Lands

Anybody who was a fan of the band Women needs to get on those Viet Cong and Faux Fur releases.

Viet Cong is Matt Flegel (bass, vocals) and Mike Wallace (drums) from Women plus two other guitarists. I saw them live here last month, and they were excellent. This EP doesn't really display their full potential, but "Oxygen Feed" is awesome. And the whole thing is really good, really, is just that they were REALLY great live.

Faux Fur is the youngest Flegel brother (of Pat and Matt who where in Women) playing something and three other guys. And the Faux Fur album is free if you want it be so check it out.
