Sugar Minott: Dance Hall SHowcase: Volume II
One of my favorite reggae/dance/hall/dub/whatever records of all time. The only crime is that at 10 inches and 4 tracks (8 if you count the dub versions of each included seperately) I always wish it was a bit longer. Great vocals and the backing tracks are just outstanding, her's a sample complete with its dub.

Listened to Billy Bragg's Back To Basics a bunch yesterday. After a while it dawned on me that he really isn't that great of a singer. But I still love those songs.

Also listened to that Roots of Power Pop compilation. Really good collection, and will come in handy when I make my second 1979 mix.
