The classic one -- The Crazy World of Arthur Brown -- not on there.
I feel like I should know more.

I bought that about 10 years ago when I was buying ANYTHING that got compared to Arthur Lee/Love. Didn't really care for it at all. It quickly fell out of rotation so I couldn't really describe it at all but I'd say you aren't really missing anything here.

Dated and unlistenable.

I never got the appreciation - always seemed like a novelty act to me.

Agree with Mr. Harry. But a fun novelty act, in very small doses.

Yeah I just snagged "Fire Poem" for one of my 60s mixes and called it good.

I only have the first album but I think it's pretty well worth a listen for if you are interested in 60's music. It's of a period and a sort of vaudeville psychedelia in style but if you like that sort of thing I think it's a pretty good, if not great, album.

The cover version of 'I Put A Spell On You' is excellent and I rather like the wacked out acid nursery rhymes like 'Spontaneous Apple Creation' and 'Fire Poem'.

Unfortunately despite being produced by Pete Townsend, my copy sounds like it was recorded through a layer of duck down pillows. Perhaps it's some modern CD mastering issue.

The original drummer was called Draken Theaker which is an excellent name for a drummer in a psychedelic band.

As I recall, the original issue vinyl was pretty awful, and that was before I really even knew what awful sound quality was.
