i've spent about a week with this new shabazz palaces record and i like it. butterfly's - or whatever he calls himself now - message & delivery hasn't deviated much from early & mid-90s dp shtuff but i love the pro tools work & production. it's no daniel ramano but still kind of exciting - sometimes it's good to have low expectations. am i alone with my shit taste again? from dalen's post in the 2011 thread:
