Your Eagles look about as up and down as my Saints. We'll see who's on which end of the see-saw come Saturday.

I somehow haven't seen the Saints this year, but I assume that Brees is still Brees. How has the defense been?

They were pretty strong at the beginning of the season but can be had now. I actually think the Eagles have a pretty good shot in the game.

Final score: 42-13 Aints because I stink at picking games.

I feel pretty good, but mostly because the season is already a victory.

The D is vastly improved over last year, but you could have put me and 10 clones of myself out there and accomplished that. Injuries to the secondary are the biggest reason for the slight decline since week 1. My biggest concern is stopping McCoy. I think if the Saints hold him in check, they win.

Mike, how much of your McCoy concern involve the game being in Philly?

if the saints were playing the eagles in new orleans, they'd beat philly by AT LEAST two TDs

but they SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK on the road, so give me eagles 24-16

He'd still be my main concern, even if the game was in NOLA.

Harbaugh spent most of the week dismissing weather questions, but Friday he delivered this scientific assurance of why his players would be fine: "The heart rate ramps up, the hot blood races to the arteries, to the vessels, to the capillaries, and there distributed to the fingers and the toes. In an athlete, the age and the health of these guys, that hot blood will be racing around."

Harbaugh clearly doesn't understand the principles of hypothermia, frostbite and the dire weather conditions that are not a reality for him at the moment.
The coldest wind chills in the region in approximately the past 20 years (I remember school being cancelled for a week the last time this shit happened).
Just being outside for minutes at a time is a challenge.
Playing a football game is ridiculous.

10-20 degree weather with minimal wind is a cake walk.
Once you get below zero with any wind, even if you're running around, all you're gonna think about is how cold it is, why your fingers and toes have bone pain and don't work, and what the fuck you're doing outside in this shit.
It's all just numbers until you experience it. Next level shit regardless if you're acclimated for cold weather.

And for those that want play "the field is heated" argument, don't understand how convection works. Any wind at those temperatures will quickly eliminate any heat coming from the coils buried feet below the ground and the resulting condensation will probably turn the field to shit.

Seriously though, is there any chance they would postpone the game?

I guess there's always a chance, but the national television interest generated by the harsh weather conditions probably only motivates the NFL to make sure the game happens. If anything, moving the game to noon would be most reasonable as temperatures are predicted to slowly fall as the day progresses.

Ugh. Good riddance to the 2013 NFC East.....
But if Foles is more than a flash in the pan, no one's going to touch the Iggles for years.

I think the best part of that .gif is all those mouth-breathing Iggles fans in the background chomping on their wads of gum and the diabetic making the jack-off hand gesture.

Between Jack Off Guy and Crazy Eyes to his left, you've got a solid duo of strangulation and shallow graves
