I copied my image url straight from Facebook and used the [cimg=400][/cimg] tags so it wouldn't be too big.

Hmmmm. Derris reboot:

Have now entered into 2nd year of Marriage with no complaints (by me at least)
Bought our first home together (2nd residence though) 6 months ago
This year will mark 4 years at current job and, despite a large reorganization last year, I still love it.
I'm obsessed with my new neighborhood. It's "transitional" (read: gentrifying) but I love the eclectic funkiness of it.
I've met more people in the new hood in 6 months than I did in 6 years in my old neighborhood.
Currently the most hopeless I've felt about all of my sports teams in a decade. I hate you sports.

Basically, as I begin my entrance into middle age (39) I'm finding that I'm quite content with my station in life.

2014: looking forward to playing some music, brewing some beer, buying some bikes, continuing to make improvements on the house, and possibly a European vacation.

36...

divorced since the ex wife went off the rails with alcoholism and assaulted me.
Fell off of a highway and landed on the highway below.
learned to walk again and got a great dog about the time that i moved into a house of 5 other people aged (22-25)
did a kickstarter for an album and it got funded. Ken Stringfellow produced it.
Just got final mixes back if you want to hear. About to send it to get mastered and pressed to vinyl.
Own a studio with a friend from Voxtrot, kind of by accident.
Applied to two grad schools and resigned from teaching effective the end of the year without hearing whether i got in or not.

Trying to thrive, managing to survive, wondering how to make it all come together, and trying to stay busy enough that I don't think about the ex gf that happened after the ex wife. Chicks... they should take lessons in humanity from my dog.

I can't fucking hit the shared site from work, and there's no functioning compruter at home. So itchy to hear it. I'll get the laptop at home working.

Ok

- 32
- Finally bought a respectable car, with a respectable car loan.
- Much more responsibility slinging bowls, but it's not good enough, so getting closer to figuring out what's next
- Still love Vermont, but trying to decide if that what's next involves living in it at all
- Being a property manager on the side means free rent with an awesome little apartment I can do whatever I want to. It's coming along nicely. Being a property manager also puts me squarely in the middle of other couples' problems, no heat calls at 9 PM on the coldest night of the year, and helping people figure out what to do when they have a clogged toilet
- Single, which is incredibly easy to do here, though there is one guy who will drive me into some sort of institution when nothing else in the whole wide world will
- Hoping to get into photography with the Cap'n's insanely good help
- Still wishing I liked the ladies instead of the fellas, because I'd make ayah happy to be the older woman
- Still have that dog that pees on stuff
