july trip moved to august. I'll be in northampton aug 22 through aug 31. (wenchlette bday!!!!) moving daughter child to boston for grad school on sep 1st and flying out sep 3. looks like I'll just miss you cap'n but she's there for two years and we're bound to meet up eventually.

I also went to a neighborhood street party/festival a couple weeks back, but didn't really party due to having to consume domestic beer.

Wife-n-kid are out of town all week, I don't leave to join them til tomorrow. A friend came over last night to borrow a film scanner we share, and stayed to have 2 heady topper beers and chat. That turned into a deep discussion til 1:30am. I enjoyed it in some ways, even though the subject matter drifted towards things that weren't all that uplifting (basically, "your wife intimidates other people by her constant enthusiasm," which... what the fuck do I do with that really... sigh). You're never perceived exactly the way you think you are. At any rate, I also had 2 of those 16oz cans, had a right proper buzz, and then suddenly realized that I needed all that time which had just vanished to be doing things like clean the house, pack, and tune up the folding bike before I fucking leave for over a month. I wound up pounding water, listening to headphones, and finishing the editing of 350+ pics from Neuro's wedding that I took for them. Got to bed at 3am, am tired as fuck today, and still have a ton to do tonight.
