Sure, why not, i like the room and the audience is usually alot better than any venue in the city proper.

Can I trade my vinyl copy for a nice set of properly named/tagged mp3s with the cover art embedded?

Keep us posted on your tour schedule. The wifey-pooo and kids are going to Sweden this summer so I have some serious free time, although now on a very limited budget after spending so much on airplane tickets.

You can do whatever you want, but i can just send you the drop card that I was going to package inside your vinyl when I get it next week. And then I can still send you your vinyl.

What's a drop card?
I don't have any connections around here...I assume you were hoping to get paid for these gigs, right?

That is, generally speaking, the aspiration.

oh and the fitz guy says that as far as he knows, it's July 10th (although the 4th of July American Music Fest tends to make things a bit screwy sometimes). If you're interested, I'd see if you can get on the bill ASAP. He's pretty responsive via FB.

That's basically what the kickstarter was doing.

But yeah, if you want to give me money and I get you a vinyl in June or July, feel free. If you want to wait till they're in my hand, that's fine too.

But the more people that buy it, especially on bandcamp, the sooner I can get this vinyl order placed.

I was going to do 500 copies. maybe I should just do 300.

I took my wife to Hot Springs, Arkansas over the weekend for a quick getaway in celebration of our second wedding anniversary. On Saturday night, we're sitting at a local brew pub enjoying some fine IPAs, when my phone lights up with a notice that I've been tagged in a Facebook comment by the Obnerinian known as Chrome_CW (a.k.a. Adam) - in response to a FB post I hadn't previously seen from Obner's own Prince of Darkness (a.k.a. Phil). By the time I pulled up FB on my phone, here's the exchange that had taken place up to that point...

Phil: "Hot Springs, Molly and I are at Maxine's editing video, writing booking e-mails, and generally being misanthropic. We're around, if you're around."

Adam: "Did you and Bob Bland hook up?? Could have sworn I saw a post from him there yesterday."

Phil: "Nope. Didn't know Bobbo was here."

After gathering my faculties from being gobsmacked by the utter impossibility of it all, I managed to post a reply of my own, leading to the following exchange...

Me: "Me and my wife are over at Superior Bathhouse Brewery RIGHT NOW!"

Phil: "I'm at maxines down the street."

So, me and my wife immediately polish off our brewskis, close out our tab, and walk down the block to inadvertently re-create the front of my t-shirt...

Arkansas is the Vermont of the South.
