Good list. There's a little overlap with mine, so I think that should check out some of your top 5. THOSE I have not heard anything of.

Nothing and Withered Hand will make my top 15. I have a love/hate relationship with that Sun Kil Moon. Thanks for posting your list. I will post mine sometime in 2016... the New Obner, cargo cult of CMJ.

Not a lot of overlap, but I do like that Cloud Nothings album a lot. That Nothing album is among a handful that plan to start listening to in the next week or so.

Finally gave that Strand of Oaks a listen. Liked a couple of songs, but the rest didn't grab me as much.

Same here, but that gives it a slight edge over my near indifference toward War on Drugs.

As do I. There are few, if any, songs that both captivate and repulse me like "Dogs."

Lydia crashed with us a couple of times before my accident. She is wednesday addams crossed with loretta lynn and pj harvey in person, and I mean that in the nicest most complimentary way possible. Her bassist/husband Ben is a grade A human. Her dad was drumming with her at the time, and he can drink whiskey professionally.

Finally got a chance to hear this last night, and unlike Strand of Oaks, I definitely see what all the fuss is about...GREAT album! Would have made my Top 10 for sure, had I heard it in time.

Really liked Cloud Nothings.

Haley Bonar and Lydia Loveless only got a few listens each but I enjoyed them.

Future Islands I enjoyed a few songs that popped up on playlists, but I don't think I could take a whole album of them.

New Porns deserves more attention from me, I've ignored it all year.

Everything else I either gave a single listen to or have no opinion. Thanks for posting!
